"Hair has to be dead straight for presenting the weather. Because you're standing against a blue screen, if any hairs stand out, it's really obvious. On Temptation days, we'd do six hairstyles: five for Temptation, one for the weather. That's a lot of straightening and curling. I put in Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak, which is unreal.
"I go to Tremayne Hair Salon in Toorak (phone 9827 2068). They're really good at colour. I'm a creature of habit - they do a great job so I keep going there. At Chuan Spa Health Club at the Langham at Southbank (phone 8696 8311) I do yoga, and I have a trainer, Daniela, who used to be in the army, so she gives me a flogging. She pushes me just under my limit, so I don't crack it and go home."Kocho Spa in the city (phone 9664 9764) do amazing hot stone massages. I get a pedicure there every so often. For spray tans, I go to Tuscan Tan in Hawthorn (phone 1300 136 937). I don't get it on my face, though, because it's really hard for the girls in make-up to match it."I've got really sensitive skin. I tend to just do my own facials. You get a spoonful of raw oats and put a tiny bit of hot water in until they've expanded. Mix in a quarter of an avocado or a tablespoon of honey or olive oil and push it through a tea strainer. The liquid falls through. The oats become an exfoliant - put that on your face and wash it off. Then you put the liquid on your face and let it dry, wash it off with warm water and moisturise. It does draw out the red - pick a quiet Sunday night and do it before you go to bed."
